ABOUT THIS EPISODE
It’s a good exercise to take a moment out of our crazy lives and acknowledge all of the people, places, situations, and experiences that have helped us along the way. What if you woke up tomorrow with only what you were grateful for today? It’s important to note that most people don’t choose to be thankless or unappreciative. Often an unapologetic drive to be successful, complete a task or live a better life means sometimes “living in the now” or remembering those that have helped us is overlooked. It takes practice to live in the now, and time to stop and be thankful for everything – the good or the bad. Doing so can be a golden key to a better career and further your journey as an artist or creative person.
- Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. – Melody Beattie
- Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul. – Henry Ward Beecher
